In the 1970's we Loved to Cook
Here We Are Eating Again! SNC members have always loved to dine and drink, but in the 1970s, they loved to cook too! Throughout that decade, SNC produced recipe books nearly every year. Compiled in a simple 8 ½ x 11 stapled booklets with hand-drawn covers, their recipe books featured member favorites such as a 7-up Party Salad, Green Bean Casserole and Easy 7-Layer Cookies. Members shared their recipes at annual Tasting Luncheons, such as this one on March 19, 1974, at LaVida Country Club |
